Shipping & Returns

1. Processing Times

​

We aim to have parcels ready for dispatch within 3 business days.


2. Delivery Times.

​

New Zealand (non-rural)

2-4 business days

​

New Zealand (rural)

3-5 business days



3. Compensation Policy

​

We will not compensate for damaged items if you accept the parcel from the courier, as by accepting the parcel, you agree that it has arrived in good condition.

​

Always open the parcel and check the goods in the presence of the driver.


4. Missing Parcels

​

If you have not received your parcel within the delivery time frame specified above, you must contact us immediately via globalfoodsdirect@gmail.com


Please note that all claims outside of 15 days from initial dispatch will not be considered.


5. Return & Refund Policy

​

All returns must be received by us within 15days of initial dispatch. If we have sent you an incorrect item, we will send you the correct item along with a courier ticket for return.


If your parcel has been returned to us due to an incorrect address or inability to collect it from the post office, we will provide you a refund excluding shipping and handling fee. We are not responsible for any additional freight costs incurred if you wish to have the item re-sent.


Once your return has been received, a credit or refund will be issued within 30 days and an e-mail confirmation will be sent.


6. Non Returnable and Refundable Products:

- Because of the nature of the food industry, we generally do not accepts returns.

- If you have any problems, we are human and we are contactable so talk to us as soon as possible.

- Our address labels are automatic and any error in the input of delivery address is the customer's responsibility. If a package needs to be re-delivered due to being mis-addressed, the customer is responsible for the second delivery charge.

- We do not accept returns simply because you do not like your purchase.


7. Stock Unavailable:

In the case you place an order for product that subsequently becomes unavailable or there is a delay in delivery, we will contact you via email within 24-48 hours to advise you of the situation and the options available to you. You may wait until the product is available or replace the product with a substitute product (the order total will be confirmed and adjusted), unless otherwise instructed.


In the other case where you would like to purchase a clearly stated the out of stock situation product, you may email us and we will contact you immediately once it becomes available again.

8. "Pre-Order" Products.

​

In order to offer you, our valued customer a great selection of products, some of our items are available on a "pre-order" basis. Delivery time on these vary and we will let you know the expected availability date for these.

9. E&OE.

​

Prices are correct at time of publishing but may be subject to change. E&OE (Errors and Omissions Excepted) clause on all price and product information given.
