San Marzano Tomatoes DOP - juice with thick, meaty flesh, San Marzano are widely regarded as the best tomatoes in the world.
 
In order to be authentic San Marzano DOP tomatoes, they must be grown in a specific area close to Vesuvius near Naples and to have been grown from seeds that can be traced back to the original San Marzano cultivar.
 
The tomatoes are brightly coloured and have a dense and even texture.
 
Peeled and preserved in Mutti passata and processed very quickly to preserve freshness and taste.
