One big difference between a Fundamental church and a liberal/apostate/Roman Catholic/Modernist church is on how a person appropriates salvation.
In a Fundamental church, a sinner is presented with the facts of the gospel and challenged to call/ receive/ask/pray/claim (as a lost sinner) on Jesus Christ to save him. In a liberal church, a sinner may be presented with some facts of the gospel, but he is rarely
challenged to call on Christ to save him. It is rarely made clear to him that if he takes the gift of eternal life in Christ, then it will become his for certain, and for ever.
